Routes & Branches 1/10/15

So after spending a couple of weeks reviewing some of my choices for the monthly Freeform American Roots Chart, I have put together my choices for FAR & Away 2014 which I featured on this week's show. Of course these are MY choices. If you want to check out how all of the choices added up go to: http://www.tcmnradio.com/far/far_best2014.htm

Since my show follows the Magical Mystery Tour, I played The Kinks to start my show. Muswell Hillbillies was one of my first albums. Who knew The Kinks were playing Americana before it was even popular. From there I took a musical journey through the Routes & Branches of My Kind Of music finishing with my 2 favorite albums of the year.
