Routes & Branches 4/25/15

I had 3 members of the musical drama Romancing The West stop by the KRVM studios  this afternoon. They are putting together a western tour which will be bring the show to Eugene this summer and were in town to play a show more focused on the talent of Martin Gerschwitz one of the members of the cast who is currently on  a small western tour of his own. Gerschwitz also a member of Iron Butterfly represents the modern music era ('60's to present) of the Romancing The West show which covers the entire history of the western U.S. from pioneer days to the present in a musical, storytelling performance. You can find out more at: http://romancingthewest.org/

I also had the chance to talk with Jeff Austin this past week about his upcoming show at the WOW Hall on Wednesday. I had planed to air some of our conversation on today's show, but I had some technical difficulties with my recording. Austin is very excited to be exploring new musical territory with his music and proud to be performing with Danny Barnes, Eric Thorin and Ross Martin on this tour. You can find more information about Jeff at:  http://www.jeffaustin.com/
