I have been looking forward to listening to the debut album from the Hard Working Americans since I received their single "Down To The Well" last month, and due to popular demand they moved up their add date for radio stations and sent us a copy of the entire CD. I like the entire album with special appreciation for 'Blackland Farmer', Randy Newman's, 'Mr. President Have Pity On The Working Man' and Hayes Carll's, ' Stomp & Holler'. Snider has always enjoyed the jam band scene and now has his own band to jam with. So along with the holiday tunes I had a set of John Prine music because we have a local Annual "John Prine Sing-A-Long" night at Sam Bond's Garage. Don't expect John Prine to be there, this is just a bunch of locals who like Prine and his songs and we all take turns singing lead with everyone in the place joining in. It is a fun evening and this year it will happen on Monday Dec 30th.
