A turn of the calendar this week has me making my choices of new releases for the January FAR Chart. My favorite was Chicago Farmer and his CD "Backenforth, IL" which had great song writing.
Dale Watson & His Lonestars with his new one "El Rancho Azul" and Kelly Willis & Bruce Robinson with "Cheater’s Game" take me right down to Austin with their honky tonk sound.
Carrie Rodriguez is surly giving it all she has on her new CD "Give Me All You Got". Rob Lutes' CD "The Bravest Birds" and Daniel Romano's "Come Cry With Me" round out the final slots for the month.
