The Band Of Heathens rolled through Eugene this past week and despite the small size of the stage at Sam Bond's Garage they put on a great show. Normally I try to play more of a band before they appear in town, but with my busy summer their show snuck up on me, so I tried to make it up this week by making them my feature artist on this week's show.
The second half of my show, I counted down the top ten albums on this week's Americana charts. The list starts at 4pm. with Jim Lauderdale and finishes with Paul Thorn sitting at number 1 for the past 3 weeks.
