This week I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Mare Wakefield. As many locals know Mare started her musical career here in Eugene but has since moved to Nashville. She said she finds the Nashville music scene as a lot more than just Country music with many talented artists to collaborate with. She says that with so much talent around it makes her work harder on her own material. I think it shows on her latest album "Ironwood".
