Routes and Branches Play List 12/06/08

Most of this week's show evolved around the left overs of last week's show. There has been so much good new music this year that I could fill another two hours with mostly new music.
I also had a fun in studio conversation with Seth Kimmel and Christine Harris of the local old time band Molasses. They describe "Old Time Music" as fiddle based dance music that was passed down through the family gatherings. Families would share tunes at larger gatherings and that was how the tunes were passed around. If you didn't know the tune when the song started you would know it by the end.
