This week culminated my recent contact with David Bromberg with a great show Friday night at the Aladdin Theater in Portland. The show featured both the Angel Band with their outstanding female vocals and the David Bromberg quartet. At on point David and his band mates Bobby Tangrea and Jeff Wisor were all 3 trying to light a fire with their mandolins. A great show that I always remember. I hope that it is not 27 something years before I get to see him again.
