Routes & Branches 7/16/16

Chris Chandler and Paul Benoit Stopped by the KRVM studio this afternoon to play a couple of tunes from their new CD "Pocket Call From My  Dreams". I enjoyed talking with them about how they collaborate on the tunes. Sometimes Chris is looking for a tune to go along with one of his poems and other times, like with the tune Refugees/ Don't Hate Me, Paul brought the tune to Chris and asked him to write a poem to go with it. However it happens, the spoken word of Chris Chandler and the music of Paul Benoit blend beautifully to create a performance unlike any other.
