A mix of birthdays, October FAR chart picks and a few new and old tunes thrown in to round out the show.
Birthday celebrations this week go to Delbert McClinton (73),  Guy Clark (72),  Kinky Friedman (69), JD Souther (68), and Lyle Lovett (57). We are also remembering Gram Parsons who was also born this week in 1946.

My October picks for the FAR Charts were Will Hoge 'Never Give In', Amos Lee 'Mountains Of Sorrow, Rivers Of Song', Los Lobos 'Disconnected, The Jimmy Ray Guns, 'Company's Comin'', Southern Culture On the Skids ' Dig This' and Ry Cooder & Corridos Famosos.

I have also been enjoying the new sound track for the movie 'Inside Llewyn Davis. The Coen brothers and T Bone Burnett have done it again. With a sound track this good I can't wait to see the film.
