Routes and Branches Play List 7/25/09

A Happy Birthday to Alison Krauss this week. In honor of her birthday I made her my feature artist this week. From her solo career, to her work with Union Station, Alison has produced great vocals, but I feel her best came out when she hooked up with Robert Plant. Their album "Raising Sand" was one of my favorites last year. No word yet on a follow-up album. I know there are many fans including me who would like to see them do another album.

Alison spoke about the follow up album in a recent interview with the Telegraph (UK). She says “It’ll be different, as if we hadn’t made the first. I love being in the world of the unknown.”
